A couple weeks ago I went into a clothing store near my home on Yonge Street, it's called TZATZ. I was looking around when I was approached by a gentleman in the store askinh whether I am interested in purchasing clothing or jewellery. I told him I was looking around and continued checking out the items in the store. He then said "we are closing in 10 minutes, so it's best you leave now." I looked at my watch knowing the store closes in 1 hour and 10 minutes. I said to him you close at 6pm not 5pm, he then said I think it's best you leave now.
On my way out the store, I looked back and noticed he was pointing and laughing at me along with the other three ladies working at the store.
About half an hour later my husband went into the exact same store, and receive a totally different reception, infact they were quite friendly and courteous towards him. My husband mentioned he thought they were closing at 5pm and why did they mention to me they were closing in 10 minutes. He then proceeded to ask if I was aked to leave because I was black. The gentleman went into a rage then ask my husband to leave "his store." I found out later the gentleman who approached me in the store is one of the owners. I will NEVER, EVER shop at that store ever again and plan on letting everyone what ahole that store owner is.
