I've had pleasant experiences with Bayless' providers, but my experience with billing has been ridiculous. Bayless' website clearly states that Cigna is an accepted insurance. I've been seeing a therapist and psychiatrist at Bayless for months. I made an appointment for a physical and was faced with a $250 out of network bill months later. I called my insurance to sort this out and was informed that Bayless had not had a contract with Cigna since 2015.
To add insult to injury, I had a follow up appointment to discuss blood work results from my $250 appointment. I made an appointment and waited over an hour and was informed that the staff couldn't find my lab results.
To make things even worse, I'm sitting here with a SECOND $250 bill for a visit that wasted my time and provided no answers.
These are very shady business practices that border on fraud. I beg you to waive the $500 fee. It's not ethical to collect a copay, then fine a customer for an out of network visit without their knowledge.
