| - Just came back from an outstanding meal with a friend.
Interior: A little dated, and the ceiling had those popcorn asbestos type things on it. BUT WHO CARES?!
Service: The host was prompt, we had reservations so we were seated right away. Most of the tables were full and this was around 8pm on a Thursday. I can only imagine what the weekend is like. The server was attentive, and the bus service was prompt. It did take a little while for our bill to come after the meal, but who cares, we were stuffed and needed a minute to just sit around anyway.
Food: MOUTHGASMIC. We ordered:
-Stuffed Chicken Wings
-Tom Yum Kai (7 spiciness)
-Yellow Curry Chicken (6 spiciness)
-Mint and Green Chili Beef
-Sticky Rice
-Thai Iced Tea
Everything was awesome. The Tom Yum Kai was spiced perfectly, it had the right amount of kick but still retained its sour lime flavor. I wish I had ordered the Yellow Curry in a 8, it was not spicy at all, but the coconut base was still good. This was the first time I had Sticky Rice and i really enjoyed the firm yet soft and sticky texture. I'll be ordering it often. The mint and chili beef was my favorite dish, it was a great mixture of flavors and spices that hits the mouth at all angles. Stuffed chicken wings?...c'mon, so bomb. How is it even possible to make!? It defies the laws of physics and gravity. LOL. It was very tasty. The thai iced tea was perfect, not too sweet, and very refreshing.
Overall, possibly the best Thai meal i've ever had. It did not break the bank either. We spent about $53 with tip. I'll definitely be coming back here to sample more fine Thai cuisine.
