  • This review is a bit delayed, but I wanted to encourage any folks planning the trek down south by car to consider stopping at this Embassy Suites in North Carolina, which is about a 13 hour drive from TO half way to Orlando (roughly). Across from the Nascar Museum and in the business district of NC, the hotel boasts some spacious 1 bedroom plus den suites with clean, modern lines and comfortable beds. For a drink, we went down to the bar downstairs and returned the next day for a complimentary buffet breakfast. Now this is not an ordinary breakfast, it actually has an omelette station which is rare for an inclusion. The service at the breakfast was attentive and fast, and there were even wrapped apples and granola bars and coffee for take away. On the way back, the folks I was traveling with wanted to come back, but we ended up in Virginia. However, this location. Is definately worth the stop, but make sure to pre-book on Red Tag to avoid paying full freight, as it is a more pricier option.
