  • Newer customer to Sprouts. I like their selection of supplements. Have found some of their produce goes bad in a day. I first should say I work now in Customer Service and have worked in retail long ago. I have been trained to remain calm and courteous. Here's today's story. My experience at Sprouts. Bought a small scoop of milk chocolate almond bark. Headed to the register. Cashier holds up the bag... Impatiently blurts out. "What is this?" I reply " milk chocolate & almonds." She:" whats the number.?" "Number?" "Yes ", she retorts impatiently again. "The BIN number." Me: " oh sorry I don't know. Didn't notice. But the price is $6.79 a pound." She: " That doesn't help me. As she pulls the bag off the scale. She pulls out a product code list. She searches it. " It's not on here. And it can't be with Almonds" Me: "ok sorry, I thought it was almonds maybe I'm wrong. What is it then?" She:" I don't know but not almonds and milk chocolate" holding up the bag, squinting and scrutinizing the contents. Me: "Ok well, whatever it is it was $6.79 a pound." Her: " I need the number! Where were they?" Me: now getting annoyed. ' in a bin in the candy section right over there where one of your employees is restocking." Her: now very annoyed, " I know its in a bin in the candy section but which number?" Me: again, " sorry I didn't notice the bins are numbered.!!!" Her: " well they are! Now I'll have to go find out where and what these are!" She huffs off down the aisle. Comes back flustered. Enters a number in the register. Me: " So what are they?" Her: " I got the number."she says. Me: " yes, but what kind of nuts are in the milk chocolate." Her: very abruptly: " They are Almonds!" Me: "Oh, good,that's what I wanted." Price on these?only $1.67. I only took a very small scoop. Never again. After all that courteous customer service...
