I liked the idea of the festival, and it was a pretty nice weekend for it, it had some items that were definitely cute and some were tasty, but mostly the items just okay.
It had a lot of George brown students sell their food, and while I commend them for their efforts, it tasted kind of like normal conference desserts. I do go to a lot of conferences . I guess that's okay for most, but for me it wasn't spectacular.
They had super cute animal shaped Macarons that tasted pretty yummy too . $3 for 10 wasn't bad since you can see the hard work put into it.
A vendor also had green tea shaved ice that was normal . Also a matcha place was selling their molten matcha cakes which were okay, and their matcha green tea soft serve was okay.
All in all I wasn't wowed, nothing caught my hubby's attention, but worth walking over to check out if it's a nice day out.
