Great in a pinch.
We ended up here for a last minute trip to Vegas because something was going on (Spring break maybe?) and everything was sold out or insanely expensive. We paid just under or right around $90 a night. This is near the strip so it was one of the better options we found in this price range. We actually walked to the strip once but drove to the strip the rest of the time because we went at night. The one thing that is not easy to do is to take a cab to the strip from The Tuscany. If you time it right it may not take long, but most likely you will have to wait. We had a car so it was fine. If you don't have a car you may want to allow extra time to get a cab or just stay somewhere else.
The rooms are not fancy but they are big and they are clean. I could really see a family staying here. We had a little kitchenette in ours that we never used. I think we checked and there were no plates or anything like that. The casino was actually fine too. It is chill and the dealers are nice, so when we wanted to slow our spending we just gambled here. My friend kept winning bottles of wine at the Super Fun 21 table which was hilarious. She also won a bunch of cash too. There is also a gift shop, bar, deli and at least two pools.
