I recently went to the westside Mint location with some coworkers for the lunch buffet. I'll admit: I'm always hesitant with buffets... I've had my fair share of bad experiences. But I have to give Mint's lunch buffet credit. It was delicious!! This location has a larger selection of food on their lunch buffet and they have someone making fresh made naan right there (note: don't try to pick that up on your own. they get a bit angry and tell you to sit down and they'll bring it to you...)
Buffets are good for trying new things, but the food is often less spicy than my preferences. There was one noodle dish that was spicy and delicious and I'd never tried it before. Otherwise, the rice was rice, the tikka masala was good (but not spicy), the chili chicken was tasty, the fried cauliflower was super yummy. They did have a good mix of vegetarian vs non-vegetarian dishes. And you do get naan... but you have to wait for them to bring it to your table.
The price is pretty decent. I think it was either $14 or $16 per person, which is a bit more than I'd want to pay to go there often, but once in a while isn't too bad.
