  • What a beautiful Botanical Garden. I'm a fan of the concept of a Botanical garden and have been to a few - this one is special. First it's size - it's quite large with plenty of walking trails. Second, the onsite restaurant is great, and finally the events are well worth a price premium. I went once for a full moon walking tour and this year for the Luminary event for the holidays. From the very entrance where you are treated to a Chihuly outdoor art exhibit, the wonderful restaurant (call ahead and make reservations here - you won't regret it). The live music offered at the Luminary event this year was genius - they had different genre's set up throughout the campus. Finally the walk through is peaceful due to the interesting desert plants, outdoor art exhibits, wide pathways, and the sheer length. I definitely recommend and will come back again.
