I've been going here for years. I remember when it first opened while I was in high school and I lived in the same area that this restaurant is located in. My best friend and I made regular dinner trips here and each visit over the years has been incredibly enjoyable. Over time, I've brought my now husband and work friends here because I love it so much.
My favorite things to get here are the baby squid and the Las Vegas rolls. When I visit other sushi places, I do look for something similar to the baby squid found here and this is the only place that has it (that I know of).
Nothing has changed since I first started going here as a high schooler and the quality has always been high. It is a very small place and I do not recommend large groups going there. I have brought large groups before consisting of work friends and it is doable but it should be done right at opening. Any later there may not be space. I think this place is best for intimate dates, and definitely small groups like 3 to 4. There isn't a kids menu or anything really for children so I'm not sure if bringing them for lunch/dinner would be a good idea.
I wish I could visit more often again. I do not live in the area anymore and this is one of the very few places I will go out of my way for.
