I was visiting Phoenix for the weekend and Yelped 'Things to do' in the area. This was one of the things that came up and looked awesome !
Easy to find. Decent size private parking lot located on the side of it . I came during Spring Break and there was plenty of parking.
Once you walk inside, you're in the merchandise area that has some cool fire fighter items for sale. Walk to the counter and pay for your admission. Greeted by a gentleman who briefly explained the museum . He provided me a binder that had the exhibits numbered with a brief history on what you are looking at.
The museum is number order and in somewhat of a history date order. There's so much to look it! Easily spend 2+ hours if you stop at each exhibit and read about it. Not just US fire history by the world !Very interesting info! There was not a lot of people so you could go as fast or slow as you want . Plus take as many photos as you like!
Such a great collection . Fun for all ages . If you are into fire trucks come here!
