I've been here a few times for connecting flights and I've had pleasant experiences every time. I haven't had to go through ticketing or TSA here so I have no idea how bad those are but once you're actually in it's fine.
There are a lot of food places to choose from and a few shops to peruse if you need to kill time during a layover. It's clean and fairly thoughtfully laid out with plenty of seating and no shortage of outlets for charging devices. It's decently large though so if possible, allow yourself more than 30 minutes between flights, otherwise you'll be running from one concourse to another.
