  • I hate leaving bad reviews, especially for small businesses. However, my experience was so awful, I wanted to send out a warning to all. Pros: clean. Smelt of rubbing alcohol. Cons: employees weren't well informed or able to suggest or comment on facials or wraps that showed depth of knowledge. All their answers to my questions seems like scripted responses and had very little detail or information if I asked more questions. Questions that every other place I've visited has been able to answer. The place was small. The machinery seemed to have been purchased used or on the cheap and gave me the feeling that April 'came across' some discounted stuff and bought it. The make shift rooms and shower curtain doors left much to be desired, especially when you're naked. Oh, also when there's multiple other people running around. I was waiting for someone to 'accidentally ' open the shower curtain. The facial also lacked. It was not similar to ones I've had before, she scraped my skin and left scratch marks on it. My skin was red and extremely puffy after the facial, not something I've experienced before despite having had tons of facials in the past. By the next day, the scratches remained and my face was very dry. Standard: neither pro nor con was the wrap. They were about industry standard, maybe a little less, but certainly not better. Overall, I could pay $10-20 more and receive professional services from knowledgeable employees in an establishment with privacy and real doors. My hard earned money will be spent elsewhere next time.
