rev:text	Probably have not experienced this pub quite as extensively as some other reviewers but will provide a review nonetheless. Service: considering that we were a party of 12+, the service was pretty good. Probably saw the waitress about every 15-20 minutes, which is appropriate for drink refills / checking if anyone needs the tab. One thing that I thought was weird is that we got a drink menu for everyone and about 1 food menu per 5 people. Even if you're really trying to hawk the alcohol, it's not going to end well for anyone if no one eats. Food / drink: probably because of the lack of food menus, when the waitress came around for orders, almost none of us had seen the menu, so we all cascaded into the special pot pie of the day, which was a Pizza Pot Pie. Interesting, would not have thought of that as a typical item. Didn't come out bad, and in fact the flavours were very good, but I'm just not sure that when you think pot pie, that you think pizza filling. Not a bad idea, but perhaps ahead of its time. Fries were whatever; nothing to write home about. The drink menu is pretty diverse, and they have some great specials depending on your tastes (targeted more toward uni students I would say). Also, some random guy came around and gave us free samples of some tangerine beer? Totally random, but sure, why not dude? Ambiance: I think it's typical for a pub. The volume is fine, both of other people and of the musicians when there's someone on. Lighting and decor are typical as well. Nothing really to write home about on that end.
