The Brink makes much more sense if you think of it as a casual event venue rather than a lounge. If you go when there's no special event hosted by a company, it's practically empty. The Brink can be nice when you are looking for something more relaxed because there are fewer customers than at a traditional bar or lounge. It is true that you can easily find adequate seating for yourself and a group, but the Brink can feel like it lacks anything else but the star attraction of that night (a band, fundraising event, dance gathering, etc).
