If you've already looked through the photos, you'll notice that the hotel could use some updating, however, despite that, the room we stayed in was clean. The dining chairs may have been a bit ripped up but the floors and bathrooms were absolutely clean. The beds were nicely made and a swan towel graced the foot of the bed.
Cleanliness is a major thing for us, which is why we stay at Marriotts.
The icing on the stay was the staff. We got in late, tired from driving over 800 miles with many obstacles, and I was in a terrible mood. The woman at the front desk (I wish I could remember her name!) was kind and patient with me. I wish I could have apologised for my attitude and thanked her for seemingly understanding where it may have came from. She even caught me as I was going through the lobby to check my key card which must have been deactivated by my phone. Any staff member I had run into was kind and polite. Much needed to see the good in the world that day.
The parking is $15 but that's not terrible for a city parking garage.
Overall, I hope they are able to update the hotel - they deserve it to match the wonderful staff!
