All in all I left Krazy Fish with a sense of disappointment. Maybe I went on an off night?
We started with the 'mystery beer' for $1.50 which was pretty fun and the beer was good--but they wouldn't tell us what it was after we drank and liked it. I didn't like that game any longer.
We got the Szechwan wings for an appetizer--very salty and a little bit too spicy for me, but the flavor was good. They served us the entire wing though, complete with the useless wing tip and everything, which was off-putting and uncomfortably messy.
The brisket tacos were quite good- the only part of the meal that was good all around.
JalapeƱo grits were good, but no texture and no flavor kept me wanting more. (I actually like Flying Biscuit's grits more).
But the doozy on the whole night was our d-bag waiter. He misunderstood what I thought to be pretty easy instructions to split the appetizer between 2 people and he got it wrong. No big deal, happens to everyone. Except, he was really condescending while trying to explain another way I should have asked. We left the restaurant saying, "What a jackass!" which is never the way a customer should leave a restaurant. Guess that whole "customer's always right" thing didn't really sink in.
I won't make an effort to go back here but it wasn't terrible.
