  • I don't normally post Yelp reviews and when I do it's always positive. I feel like I would be doing a disservice to Blueberry Hill and it's possible patrons if I don't post a review on my recent visit. First and foremost....PLEASE REMOVE the turkey dinner from your menu! I've only been to your restaurant a couple of times and ordered breakfast both times. In addition in both cases I visited the Decatur/W Charleston location. I wouldn't have anything negative to say about my two previous visits. On my most recent visit my husband and I stopped for a quick dinner on our way to a concert. I love to have a traditional turkey dinner and have ordered that item at other restaurants with great enjoyment. However on this occasion it was a colossal mistake. Let me start with the gravy that covered every inch of my plate, first of all it was clear! It had a weird gelatinous consistency and absolutely no flavor, matter of fact the entire dish had no flavor at all, I had to add salt and pepper to everything. The stuffing, if you can call it that, was basically soggy bread crumbs. The turkey was piled high but I'd prefer quality over quantity, although very dry it was at least edible once I scraped the gravy off. The mashed potatoes were also edible without the gravy. The corn was definitely straight out of a can but it was really the only item on the plate that I ate almost entirely. I only wish I had taken a picture for further proof of just how horrible this menu item was. If there were such thing as zero stars that what I would have given. I implore Blueberry Hill to either remove or revamp this menu item. On a positive note the Oreo cookie cake was very good. But Being that my husbands meal, although edible wasn't much better than mine we've both vowed to NEVER eat at Blueberry Hill again.
