| - This is from April, 2016. I was the third person in the ER waiting room. then some other people came in, then I was still waiting several hours later. The reason that everything took so long was the ER doc, a female whose name I cannot recall. We could hear and see her chatting in the room behind the nursing station. I deliberately stared at her several times. After being there with a severe headache for over five hours, my sweet nurse (she was excellent) finally had an order for Morphine, which I got on my way out. The doctor treated me terribly, and kept repeating, "Well, you are 62", as if I just had my 100th birthday. Being 62 and a retired RN,I have dealt with numerous docs and other hospital personnel in my life, and this doctor had NO bedside manner whatsoever. I will avoid the ER at all costs, even though I live across the street. Also, the ER receptionists have NEVER been nice, as I have been there that time and a few others with friends and relatives. On a positive side, parking was easy.
