| - I had been DYING to stay here since my first stay at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in 2007 (yes, I know the HRH tower hadn't been built yet... Referring to hard rock in general) ... And I finally got to in the HRH tower last weekend when we were in Vegas for a wedding.
Miraculously my husband found a SMOKIN' deal on a King Tower Suite with a king bed on Thursday night, and when we arrived (after a VERY long day; broke down 20 miles outside of Baker... AKA 1 hr outside of Vegas), the concierge heard my husband and I talking about our debacle and upgraded us free of charge to a corner suite of the same specs. Check the pics for some documentation of this beauty.
Well, as were talking about the debacle we were dealing with, we started throwing around extending our stay an extra night because we had to wait for my car be fixed. Concierge eaves dropping offers us a second night in the same suite at a discounted rate (not as great as the deal we got for night #1, but offering any discount without the hassle of moving hotels was greatly appreciated). Great! Lock that second night up!
Now, I'm the queen of "who cares?! We're only using the room to sleep in"... But I mean, I didn't want to leave this room! It was so G! The bed was like sleeping on a freaking cloud. The room had wrap around windows (get the corner suites), the bathtub was so deep you could swim laps in it, and it was bigger than my first apartment.
So the concierge is amazing in the customer service department, the rooms are PIMP, and a major nod to Hard Rock Casino because they just have the most laid back, chill, down to earth staff and crowd there. It's my favorite place to be in Vegas.
And it's directly across the street from HofbrÀuhaus... DAS BOOT!
