A great way to see the Grand Canyon if you are in the Phoenix area for a day trip. Our guide, Larry was EXCELLENT! His knowledge base is amazing and he provided insightful information and had great stories for the long 4 hour trek to the canyon and 4 hours back. I do recommend packing snacks if you do not like gas station food. Water is provided and lunch. You do depart early and return late. Breakfast, dinner and snacks along the way are not provided. Stops are made along the way for bathroom breaks and convenient store refreshments. On the way, we made a short 30 min visit in Sedona. I do recommend walking to Wildflower Bread Company for coffee and pastries. Once at the Canyon, you are taken to 3 different site locations. The views are breathtaking. There is time for gift store shopping. On the way home we stopped at a Navajo reservation trading post. The van is comfortable, but be prepared for the long drive. Not for someone who gets car sick easily. I lucked out and had the front seat.
