I spend a small fortune on Starbucks coffee. Whenever somebody asks me why, i always say it's because of the service and quality which makes it worth it to me.
That being said, this location has to be the literal worst which makes it being the location closest to my house and on my way to work really unfortunate.
My drink order is simple, iced coffee with cream. Pretty hard to eff that up but this location manages to do it at least once a week. There are always coffee grounds at the bottom of the cup. And not just a few stragglers but to the point where the bottom of the cup is covered. It's so bad that whenever I get my drink I have to check the bottom. Okay, that's one thing. But the service is terrible. Today was the breaking point for me. Go through the drive thru, ordered my drink as usual. As the hand me the cup through the drive thru window it is covered in whipped cream. (My drink doesn't even have whip cream so I'm still trying to figure out how that happened.) I asked the lady at the window to wipe the cup off to avoid driving with sticky, whip cream covered hands. She rolled her eyes, half-assed wiping off the cup and then went to hand it back to me. The cup was still covered so I asked her for a napkin to clean it off myself or to just put another cup over it. Without ever acknowledging the issue she just puts a cup cover (the one made for hot drinks) over the cup and hands it to me.
The real issue is this type of service at the norm for this location and it is really frustrating. If you ask me, it completely goes against the Starbucks customer service philosophy.
