  • Finally ate here for restaurant week a couple of days ago. I was just surprised by the size of this restaurant hiding in Mandalay. Staff was great period. Known for their outrageous wine selection and of course a very creative way of getting your bottle. I watched a lady employee strapped to some cables and just riding it up and down, but didn't get a bottle that day. It was pretty cool. Aureole-Dinner $50.10 Address: 3950 Las Vegas Blvd South Las Vegas, NV 89119 Phone: 702 632-7401 Website: Link to Website Reservations: Click for Reservations Donor Level: Dinner: Gold Plate Dinner -- $50.10 -- First Course Frisee Salad "Gourmande" Foie gras torchon, poached egg, black mission figs Or Braised Octopus and Maine Lobster Salad Warm pewee potato, tarragon vinaigrette Second Course Crispy Duck Leg Confit Lyonnaise potatoes, wilted greens, ice wine reduction Or Beef Short Rib and Togarashi dusted Ahi Tuna Loin Broccoli puree, sautéed porcini mushrooms, hand rolled potato gnocchi Third Course Late Summer Peach Brown Butter Tart Peach buttermilk sherbet, amaretto anglaise Or Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar Candied peanuts, honey caramel sauce These were the choices! My bf and I usually wont' get the same stuff so we can pick at each other's yummy food. The 1st course was good because it was just so...so.so..I don't know how to describe it. DIFFERENT? lol. It was honestly good. Well for my taste buds. I had the 1st choice and never had poached eggs on a salad before. Luckily I love eggs so I was down. Just so many different flavors. The only thing I didn't like was my dessert. The peach brown butter tart was okay. I got tired of it after a little while. It seemed "bready"? The sherbert was a little tart. I had to close my eyes when I put it in my mouth. hahahahha. Other than that I would love love to go back to Aureole! OH P.S. They had awesome BAR FOOD!!!! When we walked in there were hella people at the bar. They called it "small plates". We tried the pulled pork sliders. So good.
