Came here for my birthday a few months ago and absolutely loved it.
This place has managed to be a chain but still have a unique draw to it that makes it feel like an old time classic. From the moment you walk in and see the decor and feel the ambiance it's almost like a pice of old time vegas.
We had reservations for 8:00 and they were running about 10 minutes behind so we ordered a couple drinks at the bar. We were greeted bar a very friendly and knowledgeable bartender. Ordered an extra dirty grey goose martini and a cable car. Both were made pretty perfectly. The bartender was very skilled and knowledgeable and we loved the feel at the bar.
We were escorted to our seats and greeted by our server. Once again everyone was very professional warm and inviting.
After looking at the menu we went ahead and started off with the bacon salad and the beef carpaccio.
If you're a fan of bacon then the salad is for you. 2 crispy smoky full slices of bacon. Not the crumbled underworked pieces you'd find in some chains where you can't tell if it's even really bacon.
The carpaccio was also pretty amazing.topped off with fresh greens, capers and I believed a Dijon sauce, it's served with toasted bread chips. The beef was tender and sliced paper thin. The flavors truly did come together creating a flavor explosion in your mouth of a magnitude 10.0 on the tasty scale.
Moved on the the 32 oz wagu tomahawk steak. It's served on the bone to provide that extra tasty flavor and give you a feel of the caveman days. It was sliced table side and served between 2 of us. It was slightly undercooked from the medium rare we ordered but wow was it delicious. The meat was tender and buttery. Seemed to simply melt in your mouth!
Last was a complimentary dessert that offered their butter cake. It was the perfect end to a marvelous dinner.
