  • I was looking forward to trying Sweet Magnolias all week, and sadly I ended up a little disappointed. They arrived at 10:30 AM and we were first in line, so I was expecting fresh delicious BBQ! The gentleman who took our order was very friendly and helpful. He took our order right away, but it took almost 25 minutes to get our food. One of my coworkers ordered a pork sandwich and said it was pretty good. I got some brisket and the mac & cheese. Unfortunately the brisket was pretty dry and chewy, and some of the charred pieces tasted burned. The sauce was very tasty and helped the brisket. My other coworker ordered a brisket slider and her experience was the same as mine. We all agreed that the mac & cheese was delicious. So if you're going to give them a try, I'd recommend ordering the pork (or maybe the chicken?) and the mac & cheese is a must try!
