  • Davids Tea is great because they're getting people away from drinking coffee and they have great tea accessories. They really aren't for tea connoisseurs, though. They're mainly for flavoured-tea drinkers. Their straight black tea collection lacks details about the leaf grades and in some cases - such as their Orange Pekoe - uses conflicting terminology ("Orange Pekoe" vs "Pekoe"). Their blacks are also grossly overpriced; one can buy good, straight BOP-grade, fair-trade, organic Ceylon for 1/15 the price. I love that they're getting new people into tea and I'll continue to shop at Davids for accessories such as travel mugs, filters, and pots - they're great for that.
