| - The staff here is so so friendly. You get automatic stars just for that, because customer service is so very important. The place is very clean too, another great thing to have in a hotel. As far as "perks" there are a few small ones... notably the large bar and tiny pool. That's kinda where things end in the perks area. I'd count this hotel as a "value" stay. Minus the perks of a fancier hotel, but half the cost.
It's smack in the middle of what looks like an industrial/business park, so there's literally nothing much to walk to around it if you want food or shopping. That's why I ate at the hotel bar... chicken fingers that came out in five seconds. Those five seconds I'm going to assume were included in the time it took to microwave it. I'm not hating, I was hungry and the menu was very bare bones. I don't think there's a kitchen, is what I'm saying. The bar area is really nice though, with ample seating and a lovely outdoor patio.
I loathe open showers. The ones were it's stand-up and there's no door/curtain. I realize this is a modern design, but it's no fun when you're slipping and sliding on the floor after you get out of the shower and all the water ends up on the floor outside. I was thankful for a comfy bed though. I wasn't keen on the no bedside lights, basically if you want a light, it's coming from the bottom of the bed, which is another modern feature I'd rather replace for an old school lamp. Cool concept though.
I would absolutely stay here again for the value.
