This is my second escape room experience, and it was miles above the other room I did. The backstory of a book club kidnapping was carried throughout the whole experience, which really made it feel less staged. It wasn't just a cheesy "space" or "ancient" theme that was only reflected in the wall decor.
The overall production value of the whole set-up was really high and you can tell that the creator really spent a lot of time developing a complex set of clues. You can also tell that the creator is really, really into it, and his enthusiasm shows from the minute you walk in the door. I loved that they walk you through the scenario and the clues afterwords so you can see where you messed up.
I went with 7 people, and we made it out in a good time. I would recommend not going with less than 6 people because there really are just a lot of elements and you need that number of people to be solving all the different clues at once.
