No just don't! If you are thinking of staying at this particular SPG hotel just save yourself some money and go elsewhere. This past weekend we were very disappointed by the size of our room, the lack of sound proofing (you hear All of your neighbors staying above and beside of you) and by the lack of amenities (2 towels and 1 bottle of water). The price for the night should have been $126 per night and what we were charged was $299 per night. Highway robbery! We booked directly through SPG and when we called to have the price corrected the only comment was they couldn't help us since our stay was in progress and to contact a hotel manager... the problem was there as no manager on duty to help us resolve the issue. We left a message asking for a return call. No return call! We sent an email to the manager and no return message has been received. We have stayed many times at SPG properties and we are very disappointed in this hotel and with SPG. The room was so small and nowhere was provided to put up our clothing. The hotel bar was nice. The valet staff unhelpful and complained about their fellow coworkers. This is not the standard of service we expect from a SPG affiliated hotel. Maybe SPG needs to send all of their managers and staff to the Ballentyne Hotel in NC as they truly exemplify excellent customer service and hospitality.
In short just don't stay here as you will find more value for your money elsewhere.
