  • I would have given a rating of less than 1 star if I was able to. This is THE worst Metro I've ever been to. Unfortunately for me it has been the closest and most convenient grocery store to me for almost 10 years! It's crowded with customers who want to get in and out as quickly as possible, but can't because of the large volume of customers and the inability of the cashiers to keep up. The staff is overworked and in turn provide horrible customer service. It's a recipe for disaster! Just this evening a woman behind the deli counter responsible for keeping up with the high demand for rotisserie chicken completely snapped at me! I was simply standing in front of the counter trying to see if more chicken was being packaged when she rudely says to me, "they're coming" and even had the nerve to mutter a cuss word that was loud enough for me to hear standing 3 meters away. For those of you wondering, I wrote a complaint to the head office and am waiting for a reply. I will absolutely never return to this location and I definitely do not recommend shopping here. There's a 24 hour Shoppers Drug Mart across the street and a 24 hour Metro at Bayview and Eglinton (the staff here is excellent by the way!).
