I have been a customer since the business opened. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm has cooled when I tried for a whole day to reach the business by phone. When I stopped by later that day to find out if the item was available, I mentioned that no one answered the phone all day. It was then I was told the owner took the phone out because there were calls he did not like to answer. I checked with other business owners if there is a pattern of business owners to cut off customers from making contact. Each business owner I asked responded "is this person crazy." Clearly this is not a business person who cares about the consumer. My reaction is not only that, but how discriminatory this action is to anyone who has any mobility issues and can not just jump in a car to stop by to ask about availability of a product or order one. I would think that the Urbana Business Association would strongly urge that businesses not follow this model. Further, the owner has done nothing to make the public aware that the business no longer can be reached by phone because the phone number is still listed on all the internet sites.
