  • I've had the pleasure of coming to George's Barber Salon since it's inception over six years ago. There is a reason I now drive 35km every two weeks to get my hair cut here; it's the best. You get the atmosphere of a vintage barber salon with stylists creating the freshest looks in men's haircuts. There are only a handful of places in the city that have attempted to create the feel of a barber salon from a bygone era. GBS stands out with their unique style and attention to customer service. Call them when they are closed and you'll get a call back in the morning confirming what time to come in for your cut. Or if you are like me do it the way they did it back in the '40s... be outside waiting for them when they open and be the first cut of the day. Your early arrival will be rewarded when they offer you an espresso and a seat in their old school barber chairs. Truly an experience for the young and the old.
