The technician came to my house and handed me a business card without saying hello or smiling. He pulled my refridgerator/freezer away from the wall and said that cat hair had overheated the condenser coil causing it to overheat. There was dust along the cardboard bottom that I immediately vacuumed off (my cats can't get behind my refridgerator). As I was removing the dust he was already writing the service ticket. He did not remove the cardboard panel to inspect the unit. He said "I am allergic to cats and your cats caused the problem. I will put the request for parts in the morning. You will hear back in 7-10 business days." I told him I could not go that long without a refridgerator and he said "you dont have a second one in the garage?" He then walked out the door. I called the office to inquire as to why the parts search would have to wait until morning and she said "you are not a cash customer. Because of your warranty you are not a priority". The attitudes of the employees is completely unacceptable. I have always been asked by companies if I have pets before they send out technicians. To balme my cats for dust and then to diagnose the problem without even proper inspection is simply bad business.
