  • Another dog show weekend, another stay in a budget motel. For the shows at the AZ State Fairgrounds, this will likely be my go to place. It was clean and everything worked as expected. One bonus, the shower heated up quickly and didn't run out of hot water. Yes, the room was facing the highway. But, once the AC and the TV was on, I couldn't hear a thing outside. The grounds were clean, and the staff were professional. A big bonus that Starbucks, Denny, and McDonalds were all steps away. Fine dining? No, but cheap options if you want no frills. The breakfast was standard hotel continental breakfast offerings. Fancy? Nope. But affordable and clean. And a bonus with no issues with the dogs being with me.
