| - This was my third cirque show in Vegas and overall I just didn't find it that impressive. I paid a good $25 less for my ticket to Zumanity and had a much better time. The Zarkana theater is very beautiful. I sat in section 302 and had a great view. In my opinion, the music was the best part of this show, the band is really great. The acts were impressive, but not unbelievable like some of the acts in other shows I've seen (Zumanity and O). There were 3 mistakes made in the show I saw. I'm not saying I could get up there and do it, but it was a little disappointing to see 3 very noticeable mistakes. I understand it happens though. I will say that the filler comedic acts in between the set changes really were funny and made me laugh. A lot of times I dread this part of the show but it was pretty entertaining. There was nothing wrong with this show, it just wasn't my favorite. If you read about the story line of the show in the program I think the show makes more sense, but for me it just didn't have that WOW factor that the other cirque shows I've seen did. I also HATED the fact that pictures were allowed, I understand that in this day and age everyone wants to capture every moment of their lives on their Iphone, but it got annoying watching the show through the phone screens of the people in front of me- I thought it just really took away from the show. The fact that they sold popcorn for the show also drove me crazy as I could hear people throwing popcorn into their mouths and chewing for the entire 90 minutes. I know these are little nit-picky things, but it really diminished my experience at Zarkana. I usually buy something in the gift shop when the show is over, but there was no Zarkana merchandise I had to have, which is okay- more money to spend somewhere else, but I was kind of surprised. If you like to see the cirque shows in Vegas then I would go, but don't pay an astronomical amount of money for the tickets- its not worth it. I had a great seat in the middle of the theater but I think any seat in the house has a good view. I wouldn't sit right up in the front because you have to turn your head and neck during aerial acts to see what's going on. If you go see Zarkana, I hope you enjoy, it's good, but in no way spectacular.
