Husband came in with severe back pain. He cannot sit with any comfortability and standing is almost as bad. The wait time is very irritating (30 mins with no one else in the waiting room) and when I asked the receptionist how much longer she didn't make eye contact with me and responded with, "They're working on your chart now." Could they have worked on the chart 30 minutes ago? The tech that took us back was less than warm and you could almost assume they were counting the minutes until they got off work. She didn't comment on my husband's obvious discomfort but went through her schpeal of blanket triage questiins, ZERO personality or empathy. Dr. came in. Quick to address the issue (thank you!) No wasted time but helped us get a muscle relaxer and pain meds until he could get into our regular dr. for shots.
People come here as a FAST resort to painful issues, however the time spent waiting is disappointing and irritating.
