  • Perhaps the only reasons I gave this any stars (other than that I have to): the initial staff member I met was very nice (albeit trying to sell me something for no good reason with no ACTUAL care as to what she should be recommending me...) and my car was actually cleaner than when I brought it here... that's about all I can say. I came to Mister Car Wash wanting only an interior clean, and a GOOD interior clean - my floor carpets were a mess and needed vacuuming, dog hair all over my seats (my dogs rule my world), dog slobber on the inside of my windows, and general mess/glare on the front windshield inside. Getting only the inside of my car cleaned was not an option, I HAD to get the outside cleaned as well. Moreover, you can't choose a basic outside clean and a premium interior clean... you have to buy way more than you need at a STUPID EXPENSIVE cost. To get the vaccuming and wipe down I needed on the interior I had to buy the absolute top package which included a top-of-the-line (supposedly) exterior wash. The last MAJOR snow storm of the year was scheduled to come later that afternoon (and it did) so obviously an outdoor wash was a complete waste of money. In the end, my floors were vacuumed very well. Most of my interior windows were cleaned; however, when you rolled the windows down, you could still see the interior gunk (largely from my dogs' noses). Nobody bothered to roll down a window and get the top 2-3cm of glass. When Im' paying over $32 for a stupid car wash, I can have higher expectations. Additionally, there was still dust left on the sides of my dash -- enough to really notice. Most of the dashboard and console were cleaned, but again, if I'm paying you over $32 to clean my car... CLEAN MY CAR. Finally, they don't vacuum the seats! Are you kidding me? My $32+ can't even get the seats vacuumed? For the results and the price, this is absolutely not worth it and I will never go here again. I used to live in Chicago and when I was recently back there visiting family, I paid less than $20 for a clean that cleaned everything that was lacking that I mentioned above. When I asked if they vacuumed the seats included in that package, they looked at me like I was crazy and said "of course we do." And you bet they did! From now on, if I don't want to clean my car myself, I'll wait till I have to go back down to Chicago... which is absolutely ridiculous. Underwhelmed.
