Not even sure what to think about this place. Called and made appts for me and my daughter. Specifically asked for someone who was good with current hairstyles. Person booking blew smoke up my arse and said we'd be taken care of, booking us with a fabulous stylist. Great!
Day of our appt, Cici calls to "suggest" I move our appts to the following day so we can get it styled. We didn't want it styled, just a cut. She starts talking about how she's not sure how her day is going to work out because after the 2 of us she has a color and a highlight.
Ummm...I'm hearing 2 things: first, you are planning on rushing us because you double booked because those services pay more. Second, you don't sound like someone good at current hairstyles.
So I specifically ask "are you Cici? How comfortable are you at modern hairstyles? My daughter is doing a big change and we want someone with experience in current hairstyles, as I requested when I booked days ago." She tells me she's not the one, tries to get me to come in Saturday for some stylist training thing. Ummm... seriously???
Cancelled our appts for obvious reasons. She calls me back 3 times in a row telling me the owner Dina will take us two hours after our booked appt. It's Friday, have plans and zero confidence in my experience with Simply Marvelous Salon and Spa.
This is no way to do business. Totally unprofessional.
