  • Heard about these guys on Pandora, and as an avid thrift shopper, I had to pop in. I downloaded a 50% off coupon and headed there this past weekend. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. In comparison to Goodwill, this place is organized a lot better. The clothing is broken down by gender (men, women, boys, girls, babies), then broken down by item (pants, shirts, jackets, dresses, etc), then broken down by size, then by color. Wow. It is much, much easier to shop here than any other thrift store I've been to, although there sometimes can be a few stragglers where other customers moved items around. I preferred this Epic Thrift over the one on Tropicana and Pecos. The customers and the staff overall just were more friendly. The staff seemed to know what they were doing at this store as well. I also enjoyed the fact that Epic Thrift does the tag specials like Goodwill does as well. However, some of their prices can be a little high for most of their inventory being pre-owned. I found a few things here that I couldn't help but chuckle because they were asking too much. However, with the 50% off coupon I had, in combination with the tag sale they advertised, it made my trip worth it. I ended up getting at least 30 items for under $80. Again, that was because I brought the 50% off coupon. Overall, I will most likely return, but probably not unless I know it's either a 50% off day, or I have a coupon.
