| - This was a very satisfying downtown hotpot experience. Very authentic -- similar in many ways to what Ive had in Chengdu and Chongqing (we opted for the classic spicy hotpot). A real plus is the condiment area, separate from the table, with an array of other oils, spices and garnishes. Another plus is that once your hotpot is ordered, everything else is limitless, so essentially it's all you can eat (this also explains the price tag which, admittedly, is a bit on the steep side for what you are actually getting). We loved the lamb, liver, beef, noodles, tofu, and squid. I wish there had been duck blood, but I suspect that the municipal health authorities wont allow that.
