| - After reading good reviews on Google, I decided to stop by one day and got some threading done. I inquired about other services as well, particularly for my shoulder length hair. I was given a price, confirmed by two of the employees pointing to their flyer, so I booked an appointment to get my hair done by Jenny (who I understand is the owner/runs the show). I get to the place for my appointment on time and was surprised to see her geared up and ready to leave; jacket, boots, scarf et al. She appeared to be in a hurry to pick her son and there was utter confusion in the shop as they were decking the place for a Xmas party later that evening (I wasn't informed for any of this ahead of time or I would've certainly cancelled); and the stylists were doing their own hair, cleaning the floors, taking 'live' videos...well you get the picture; all of them of course, speaking in their native languages the entire time. Jenny ordered her staff to plop me down for a shampoo, then hurriedly cut my hair at which point I even asked her if she was trying to wind up early because of how rushed it was and 6 or 7 staff around her the entire time asking about the food menu for the night, the gifts from the car, ordering them to clean up, put up curtains etc. She then asked Raman to get my threading done and she was preoccupied and worried the entire time with what was happening in the front without her, almost like she didn't want anyone else to kiss Jenny's a** more than her. She did such a shabby job, I had to point out thrice an area that she missed and she got cheerfully disgruntled. Quoted me more than double of what was confirmed in the end for payment (after conveniently asking my profession before that), had to speak to Jenny over the phone since she left who insisted on the price since even though my hair '"was really good quality and easy to manage" the standard rate after any length haircut for a "surprise" blow dry along with "surprise" shampoo is $35 minimum extra. I explained to her I was told that was included in the haircut rate as I was told by her staff.
DO NOT believe the reviews on Google or Yellow pages (most are written by employees, clearly noticeable from their actual names which I didn't figure unfortunately until after visiting them and being introduced) / customers get conned/forced into writing reviews at the store itself with 8 - 10 girls down their throat to write something good. They will ask you a series of Q's at random order/intervals to figure out how much they will treat and charge you.
Proper S-C-A-M artists who care little for your loyalty or happiness and so desperate for business because of their unprofessionalism and mediocre service. I couldn't get over how they charge 4* prices for an outdated 1* salon and zero professional customer svc. skills. Ladies, please do your research - there are salons in Mississauga and Brampton that are way cheaper and far more superior in service and pricing. I've even had better hair cuts and threading in private home businesses compared to this nonsense at less than half the price and with more intelligent conversation than this unnerving desperate place!!!!!!
