Charming little find on the west side of Beaubien street.
They specialize in Moroccan inspired brunch while still holding true to menu classics.
Very relaxed ambiance, superbe terrace with an open dining room to the kitchen and the street.
I had the Monte-Cisto which was a grilled cheese made of aged cheddar, apples and caramelized onions served between two slices of yolky French toast.
It was very yummy but not sweet enough for my taste. I added some extra maple syrup on top to take it to the next level.
My partner had the Moroccan casserole which resembled a shashouka but minus the feta and plus two incredibly tasty merguez lamb sausages.
Generous portions, but coffee not included.
Did I mention it's a bring your own wine? Aka bring your own mimosas :)
You won't find the best brunch food in town, but the plates are all definitely very solid and the charming neighbourhood ambiance is hard to beat. Great place to have a relaxed brunch with friends!
