  • This was a really neat find while strolling around Coventry. I had seen the one in University Circle and had almost stopped at it earlier in the afternoon but could not find parking, so I was excited to see this location! First off the shop is really warm and inviting, It looks like something out of a magazine, I was greeted instantly by the two shop employees and they were really friendly. They asked had I been in before and when I said no, not only did the young woman welcome me again but she came around and actually walked me through their self serve area taking time to explain how they locally source their products from the nearby Amish areas of Ohio. They have several vegan froyos as well as their organic selection. Much like other froyo establishments they have the dry toppings as well as fresh toppings like fruit, cookie dough, cheesecake pieces, etc. They also have Hot Fudge and Hot Caramel. I made a combo of Organic Sea Salt Caramel and Organic Chocolate and topped it with Hot Caramel. The caramel was a very thick and rich caramel not thin or watery, I was also impressed that even though it was soft serve froyo it did not melt the moment the caramel hit it. (Huge plus in my book) Both flavors were good. I would have like a bit more flavor to the Caramel Sea Salt but it was ok. I think i am just spoiled by Mitchel's. This is just much lighter and not as decadent. (That can be a huge plus as I did not feel bad about having my dessert before dinner.) I cannot wait to bring my sister and daughter up to try this, I think they will like it as much as I did. Very relaxing atmosphere in the shop. I think I could enjoy sitting with a book and enjoying a froyo here as a change form a coffee shop. They also have live music sometimes an I think that would be really fun. I am gonna keep my eye on this place!
