Downtown Toronto has acquired a unique gem of a coffeehouse.
It's interesting. The folks that frequent this place are all over the place. It has a hipster vibe but at the same time a business set which is expected when nestled by the financial district. This means most excellent for people watching. If you get bored of that - it's surrounded by windows. This also means, if you are on a date, you have plenty of passersby to watch. (Yes, I said that).
All this being said. The architecture itself is wonderful. Details abound that mirror the space.
The coffee itself isn't too bad at all. It's not up there with Sam James, Manic, Ideal etc but it will keep your palate happy enough to not dismiss the flavour profile.
Of all the coffee shops in the area, I would say - it's a must to go to.
