We came to pick strawberries then visited the farm shop. Parking was difficult, because the place was so popular. The staffs were super friendly. Their friendliness more than made up for the parking headaches. The big strawberries field was beautiful. The children had lots of fun picking, competing on picking the largest strawberries and taking pictures. They also experienced first hand that farming is hard work. I took advantage of the opportunity to teach them not to waste food, cause food doesn't come easy. We the adults were glad that there was a family friendly, fun and interactive activity so close to home. We paid for the strawberries at $2.50/lb, which was a fair price.
We visited the farm shop afterwards. The shop was nice, spacious and had good variety of products. I found the prices quite steep.
Kindly note that PYO customers bring their own containers or buy a bucket at the farm. In addition to berries picking, there are also vegetable pickings.
