  • I was with a group of 9 friends plus myself for a total of 10 people. We went last Saturday to do 4 races. We decided to come here because we went to Golfland last weekend but we were unable to determine who won because they don't time the races. We arrived at 6pm and the place looked like it was pretty tame. Not many people at all. We went to the cashier and we were told that the wait would be 2 hours. This was a surprise since it looked pretty empty. We all paid with credit cards because no one carries cash anymore unless they are 100 years old. All of us were told that "the system is down", so they took our cards and literally wrote all of our card numbers down on a piece of paper(PCI compliance?). Im sure the teenagers running the counter took real good care of them and destroyed them properly afterwards... What a joke. Our group hung out in the lobby for a long time. Probably a little over 2 hours. We saw new people come, race and leave so we started asking questions. We were told 15 minutes left until we started. Finally we were told that our we were ready to race. We were greeted by a rude boy that handed us laminated cards with rules on them. I handed mine back after looking it for a few minutes and realizing that it has the same rules that they have posted on the wall. Then we had this exchange. Boy: "Did you read it?" Me: "Yes." Boy: "Are you sure?" Me: "Yes im sure." Boy: "You really read it?" Me: "YES! Also I have been waiting here for over 2 hours. I've definitely had ample time to read every single rule on the wall more than once." Boy: "Ok" Then the boy read the entire rule sheet to the whole group anyway. We got in our carts and waited another 15 minutes. Finally we were off to the races. Well except for that every single race we had, someone had a busted cart. We had red flags that took another 10 minutes while we sat in the carts waiting for them to get the broken cart off the track and replaced with one that worked. After all of our races we asked where we get our times to settle our group debate of who was fastest. We were told that they weren't tracking them because(again), "the system is down". They said it had been down all day. There was no point for us to even be there that day. That is the entire reason we went there. My conversation with the little kids running the place wasn't going anywhere so I decided to go this route in hopes that a manager would contact me. If that isn't an option, we can just contact our card companies to issue chargebacks. As of right now, I highly recommend avoiding this place. It is a complete goat rodeo. Very disorganized and the staff isn't friendly. Golfland go carts were very fun. They are gas powered and not quite as fast but the track is fairly tight so you will definitely still have a good time. They also allow you to ride with another person which I did and we had a blast.
