The only thing that prevented Hanlon's from being a 5 stars was the service. The waitress didn't seem to know the menu, and she only came around once. We had to ask another server for refills. She also didn't write down my wife's order correctly, and we had to send it back. While we waited, she was just standing around chatting. We don't expect to be treated like royalty, but when one person has their order and the other doesn't, you would hope for some type of urgency.
With that said, the fact it still got 4 stars speaks to the food. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet with broccoli added in. It was loaded with fresh ham and broccoli and more than enough cheese. My wife ordered poached eggs, which had a heavy vinegar flavor to it, but it's still hard to mess up poached eggs. She really liked her raisin toast, too.
We will likely come back, just hopefully get a different server.
