Sometimes, you just need to eat. Luckily, this place is open 24/7. I would consider this place a Hawaiian themed diner. Their main draw seems to be the Ox Tail soup, which is served in the middle of the night. I have not been able to try it because I've come multiple times around 11pm on various days and the line is always looping around and packed. It is only served from 11pm to 7am. I usually get the loco moco (rice, spam, egg, gravy) and Hawaiian Sun guava drink. Definitely as unhealthy as you can get, but works for nursing or preventing a hangover. The food here is not gourmet or even close by any means, but I have yet to get food poisoning. I did get the runs one time from the greasy breakfast buffet. If you're sensitive to oil content I'd recommend avoiding it. Someone also pointed out that this place seems to not serve much fresh produce. The side veggies that come with the specials look like they're from a frozen bag or a can. The fruit in the breakfast buffet are definitely canned. Except for the bananas.
Service is can be slow because they're always busy and most of the people working here are probably from Hawaii. If you've been to Hawaii you'll know what I mean. If it is just you go sit at the counter. You can just walk up there without waiting and other from the person standing back there instead of waiting forever for a table.
Uh, you gamblers can use your dining vouchers here.
