  • Shinji Muramoto, Lorraine and Chef Nick have outdone themselves with this new dining spot. Chef Nick is a James Beard Nominated Chef and was best of the Midwest in 2010. We had dined at his former kitchen, Restaurant Magnus, first as meat eaters and were totally blown away. Then, as vegetarians and again, totally amazed. Now, we eat no meat or dairy and it's no surprise that now, at 43 North, Chef Nick created the best vegan meal we've ever eaten. It's clear, whether it's pork, fish or carrots, he loves what he does and should be running his own restaurant. We'll follow him where ever he goes. Lastly, Host Lorraine was sweet, accommodating and anything but stuffy. In fact, she rocked.
