| - Surely you must be kidding.
I came due to a raving recommendation from a long time Phoenix resident. Fortunately, I've come to take Phoenicians culinary suggestions with a LARGE grain of salt. Having grown up outside Boston, and very close to the coast, I've found that locals have a difficult time recognizing good food.
Until recently, Phoenix seems to have been accustomed to very bland and boring food. That has obviously changed but there are still many stubborn hold outs.
That said, The Prime was among the absolute WORST chinese food I've ever had, along with Sing High in downtown. That's another story however.
The condiment containers, the table etc are all coated with a layer of grease. Bad start. The place was empty. Another bad sign. The most basic dishes were ordered. Sweet and Sour Pork. Tough, overcooked, inedible.
Egg drop soup. Bland, gross, and just cornstarch, water and egg.
DO NOT waste your time nor your money.
GROSS!
